Early Bird Tickets now ON SALE!

We are delighted to announce the first guests of  our exciting line up for this year’s 46th annual Festival which will take place over the June Bank Holiday Weekend – 31st May to 4th June 2017

The award winning American writer Richard Ford will open the festival on the 31st May 2017 and will read on Thursday 1st June.   Richard will be joined by a host of national and international writers such as;

 Akhil Sharma, Sigrid RausingDavid Szalay, Fergal Keane, Colm Tóibín, Dame Margaret Drabble, MJ Hyland, Liz Nugent, Donal, Ryan, Sinead Crowley, William Ryan, Alan McMonagle, Helen Lederer and Ian Mcpherson.

We are thrilled to be collaborating with Bealtaine Festival 2017 on their Everything to Play For.  This special event will be a sports and poetry celebration with Poetry Ireland and will include guests Luka Bloom, Micheal O Muircheartaigh, Maeve Kyle, Tony Ward, John McAuliffe, Elaine Feeney and Enda Wyley read from and play with 99 poems about sport. Tickets for this event are now on SALE.

The FULL programme will be available in a couple of weeks but in the meantime we have released “earlybird” tickets for a number of headline events to whet your appetite.   Bookings can be made below.
