Eoin was born in Kilkeel, County Down. He was educated in Northern Ireland and at Trinity College, Dublin. His first book, a novella, The Last of Deeds, was shortlisted for the Irish Times Literature Prize and his novels include Resurrection Man, which was later made into a film, and The Blue Tango which was longlisted for the Booker Prize. His latest novel Orchid Blue was published in 2010. He lives in Sligo.
Course Theme: “Story and style”. In other words, ‘what you say and how you say it’.
