Biog:
Singer/Songwriter Mickey MacConnell has been writing songs all his life. His song Only Our Rivers Run Free has been recorded several hundred times and has been translated into 37 languages. Artists who have covered his songs include Christy Moore, Liam Clancy, The Wolfe Tones, Mary Black, Niamh Parsons, The James Last Orchestra and many more.
Course Theme:
The workshop will cover all aspects of contemporary songwriting and will involve practical work. Those taking part will perform at a showcase in The Saddle Bar during Writers’ Week.

Each three-day Workshop will run from 9.00am – 12.30pm on:
Thursday 31st May, Friday 1st June and Saturday 2nd June 2012.
Places are limited to 15 per workshop.
