Nilsson Local Heritage Writing Award

This Award is for the best book on Local Heritage and History by an Irish author/authors published between the1st January 2025, and December 31st 2025. It has a total prize fund of €1,400. The winning author/authors’ prize is €1,000, and the 2nd prize is €400.

Prize Fund:  €1,400

• Please submit 2 copies of each book to Listowel Writers’ Week office by the 27th March 2026.
• The book must be about the local heritage and history in Kerry.
• The book must have been published between 1st January 2025, and December 31st, 2025.
• This Competition CANNOT be entered online. Two copies of each entry must be submitted by post to Nilsson Local Heritage Writing Award, Listowel Writers’ Week, 24 The Square, Listowel, Co Kerry V31 RD93
